You must color balance whenever your source light changes. For example, if you go from interior to exterior or from incandescent to florescent, you must do a color balance | To perform a color balance, get a smooth white surface and be sure the surface is illuminated by the source of light your scene is lit with. Cover the entire lens with the surface then push the color balance button. | When you do a color balance, you are registering the color white, so that all other colors are referenced to that white. |
